JUDr. Jan Brož
Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University, Prague in 1972. Then worked as a lawyer in the industry field. In 1976 he commenced his practice as an articled clerk in Prague. In the same year he obtained the title JUDr. and in 1978 passed the attorney examinations. Until 1990 he practised law in one of the prestigious Prague law offices and after 1990 worked as an independent attorney-at-law.
In 1992 Judr. Brož co-founded the Brož & Sokol law firm, which became the Brož, Sokol & Novák law firm in 1999.
Within the framework of his law practise, Judr. Brož is active in all leading legal sectors, specialising in commercial obligation law, business law, civil and criminal law, immovable property law, administration law, and construction law.

JUDr. Tomáš Sokol
Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague in 1978. After the graduation he joined one of the prestigious Prague law offices as an articled clerk. After obtaining his doctorate in 1980, JUDr. Sokol has been practicing law continuously, except for the years 1990 - 1992, when he served as City Prosecutor in Prague (1990), and consequently as the Interior Minister of the Czech Republic (1990 -1992).
In 1992 he co-founded the Brož & Sokol law firm, which became the Brož & Sokol & Novák law firm in 1999.
JUDr. Sokol has been providing a wide range of legal services both in civil and criminal law. Within criminal law he specializes particularly in economic criminality. Within the commercial-legal area his agenda includes, among other, also conduct of general meetings, particularly in cases with anticipated conflicts among shareholders.
JUDr.Sokol delivers legal services to business corporations as well as public institutions both in lawsuits and arbitration proceedings (also to the state sector), focusing particularly on suits for damages and property disputes in general. He also provides consulting on internal issues of business companies, sale of shares in corporate enterprises etc.
JUDr. Sokol provides legal services in the civil sector, with focus on protection of personality and legal assistance to legal entities in disputes over goodwill.
Specific area is provision of legal services to municipalities, the most significant being the City of Prague.

JUDr. Jiří Novák
Graduated in 1976 from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University, Brno. From 1976 worked as an articled clerk in Lipník nad Bečvou, consequently obtained his doctorate JUDr. He became an attorney-at-law in 1980 and until 1990 practiced law in Přerov, covering all aspects of law with special focus on criminal, civil and administration law and having vast experience with all forms of representation at court trials.
Throughout his career, JUDr. Novák gained considerable professional reputation, which culminated after 1989 when he was appointed a Deputy of then the Czech National Council (ČNR). Between 1991 and 1992 he served as the chairman of the Constitution and Legal Committee of ČNR and participated in creation of numerous legal regulations which have formed the fundamentals of the existing Czech legal order. Between 1992 and 1996 he served as the Justice Minister CR. In this position he markedly influenced the level of justice and prison service in the Czech Republic and simultaneously gained complex overall view of the issue. Between 1996 and 1998 he served as the chairman of the Petition Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament CR.
Judr. Novák joined Brož & Sokol in 1998 and in 1999 became the third partner. He specializes particularly in criminal, civil and commercial law, and participates in the most complex cases.
